St Augustines College from Cape Coast in the Central Region has won the 2019 edition of the National Science and Maths Quiz organised by Primetime Production after they beat off competition form Five-time winners, Presec Legon, defending champions, St Peter’s Boys’ SHS.
Contesting for the ultimate prize and the bragging right were Presbyterian Boys’ Senior High School (PRESEC), Legon; St Peter’s SHS (PERSCO) and St Augustine’s College (AUGUSCO) but the contestants from St Augusco in the name of Newton, Eliason and proved too tough for the other contestants.
St Peters had 25 points, Presec Legon had 34 points whiles Augusco accumulated 39 points. Congratulations St Augustines College.
AUGUSCO now join the likes of Achimota School, Mfantsipim School and Opoku Ware Senior High School (OWASS) on two trophies each.
The trophy adds to the two and one won by Mfantsipim School and ADISCO, respectively, to give the Central Region a total of five victories in the NSMQ.
