Hon Kennedy Agyapong who last week descended on the Founder of the Glorious Wave Chapel, Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi after the latter took a swipe at Ghanaian women from different tribes has once again descended on him over same comments.
Badu Kobi in a viral was quoted saying:
“If you marry Ashanti lady, you have imported problem to yourself forever. I have done my research and it is so. Ashanti ladies are ungrateful to their husband and I have to say it.
They have a proverb translated as Ashantis don’t remember and you if you marry them and go broke, you will see how they will roast you.
Fante women are foolish sometimes and Ewes too are a doormat.”
According to Kennedy Agyapong, Badu Kobi is not only foolish but a thief who is amassing wealth at the expense of the ignorant in society urging women who fall victims to his schemes to wise up.
The lawmaker in an appearance on Net 2 TV dialogue, he noted that these kinds of pastors loke Badu Kobi are using the name of God to defraud people.
“Who is anointed? This foolish man….Anointed for who? Tell us who anointed him? Go and check his history he is a thief who parades as a pastor. At first, they were into pure juju and lately used God’s name to defraud people”, he revealed.
The Member of Parliament also argued that there are a few churches including the likes of the Catholic Church, Methodist Church that does not capitalize on the gullibility of Ghanaians to make money.
Fuming in the man of God, Mr Agyapong wondered where the senses of the women who patronize these churches have gone to.
“If you want to go to church go to Catholic Church.at least you will know what they will use your money for. Methodist will show you, Anglican will show you and Presbyterian will show you but these one man churches won’t. We cannot allow religion to impede the progress of this nation”, he added.
Urging the government to take action against this menace, Mr Kennedy advised that these men of God pay taxes.
“They are using God’s name and everybody is afraid. We should tax the pastors. We may not tax the church itself but the pastors must pay taxes. Every worker of the Church should pay tax. Let as ask if they pay taxes. I am so disappointed in Ghanaians women. I asked them”, he said.
