Patrick Allotey banned for 6 months by the Ghana Boxing Authority

The Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) has banned Ghanaian boxer, Patrick Allotey for his infamous assault of a fan of Kumasi Asante Kotoko during their crunch encounter with rivals Accra Hearts Of Oak.

In a Press Release, the Ghana Boxing Authority has banned Professional Ghanaian boxer Patrick Allotey for six months.

His ban comes on the back of a video which hit social media showing him assaulting a football fan during Accra Hearts of Oak’s super clash against Kumasi Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Part of the letter reads; “Following the hearing the GBA found you liable on your own plea and has imposed a Six (6) months suspension of your professional boxing license as the appropriate sanction. The suspension takes effect from today the 6th day of February 2020”.
