After naming Sarkodie as one of his favourite Ghanaian rappers, Ghanaian sound engineer and music producer, Ball J has made a statement claiming that he is the one who made Sarkodie the better rapper he is today.
Speaking in an interview on Hitz Fm, Ball J mentioned that even Sarkodie recognizes the great impact he has had on his career, saying that the BET award winner always gives him the due respect for his efforts anytime they meet.
“When Sarkodie sees me, I know he is going to say in his head that I made him better. He is not going to write any rhyme that sounds boring. I know when Sarkodie sees me, he would feel the need to get back to his element; how he used to sound before; how he sounded on Edem’s Keva,” he said.
Ball J also claimed that the fire with which Sarkodie first launched himself unto the music industry, has diminished saying that the rapper has relaxed since he reached the pinnacle of the rap game.
Sarkodie and Ball J had an excellent relationship until their friendship hit the rocks.
The producer and Sarkodie got into a lyrical beef some months ago when the former was attacked by SarkNation over a release of a freestyle rap which was endorsed by Shatta Wale.
