Top Kenyan blogger and influential social media personality, Xtian Dela, has revealed that Ghanaian dancehall artiste Stonebwoy was kicked out of his hotel room whiles Yemi Alade was also locked in her hotel room in Kenya.
As you might all know, Stonebwoy together with Yemi Alade and some other musicians who went to show support were supposed to be taken care of with all cost covered by the Morgan Heritage team.
Even though many on social media believed that the event was successful, Kenyan blogger Xtian says otherwise. According to him, the show was a total flop to the extent that payment of some of the artists became an issue.
He revealed that Stonebwoy was thrown out of his hotel room and Yemi Alade locked in her room because Morgan Heritage was unable to settle their expenses.
He also added that none of the Kenyan Artistes who performed on the night was paid.
Artistes like Diamond Platnumz and Yemi Aladee refused to get on stage because of non-payment.
On the day of the event, all the artists refused to get on stage before payment, Morgan Heritage gave them cheques at the backstage. A few hours after the performance they got this mail, saying no money in the account.
From the look of things, it seems that Morgan Heritage duped some artists by giving them bad cheques.
Well, the Nigerian songstress has taken to her social media handles to confirm these allegations from the Kenyan Blogger.
She wrote that her experience in Kenya this time now was by far the worst ever.
“This by far is my worst trip to Nairobi, but I wont let this one experience ruin the love I have for this beautiful place! No devil! Not today! I SAY NOT TODAAAAAY!!!!!“, Yemi posted.
An #ArrestMorganHeritage hashtag is currently trending on the Kenyan social media landscape as well.

The event, which was organised by Jamaican Grammy Award-winning reggae family, Morgan Heritage, was characterised by a delayed start, no show by a number of artists and limited allotment of time on stage.
Jamaican singer Alaine also expressed her disappointment with the concert’s poor organisation after her performance was cut short.
The organisers informed the fans during the show that the night’s expected big acts, Yemi Alade and Tanzanian crooner Diamond Platnumz failed to perform because they had been “affected by the Nairobi weather”.
Nairobi News, however, understands that the two artists stayed in a van at the venue of the event until 5 am when they left.
From the onset, the event was dogged with numerous logistics with two press conferences and a pre-party show cancelled.
