The winner of the 2019 edition of Talented Kidz, Nakeeyat took a thank you tour to her hometown, Ajumako.
The kid poet decided to celebrate the victory with her home town, Ajumako Asaasan.
The streets of Ajumako Asaasan was flooded with people who couldn’t wait to see Nakeeyat Dramani make a triumphant entry to the town.
Prior to her tour, she posted a photo to announce how happy she was leaving for her hometown to attend the grand durbar.
“Dear Mama, can I please get similar dressing to meet my people? Thank you Ajumako for the love, I’m coming home soon. Ajumakoman eeeeei, your baby girl is coming soon,” she captioned.
Nakeeyat Dramani is a 7-year-old-poet who enjoys reading. The Pank Baby College pupil from Cape Coast in the Central Region has never stopped wowing her audience with well-crafted performances filled with wisdom. She speaks Hausa, Fanti and English.
Battling for the ultimate prize at the 3-tier 1,500 seating capacity auditorium in Accra were Ebenezer Oppong Asare, Gershon Edem Gaddah, Irene Asiwomeh Adoku, Nakeeyai Sam Dramani, Nene Kwadwo, Prince Okyere, Shirley Okyere and Tordey Dancers but Nakeeyat beat stiff competition from all the seven finalists to become the winner.
