Former Black Avenue Music signee, Wisa Greid has spoken about the incidence that nearly ditched his music career.

During a live performance at the 2015 edition of Citi FM’s December 2 Remember Show, Wisa who was young and fresh in the music industry got carried away by the little fame he was enjoying and decided to ‘take destiny into his own hands’ and show his genital.

He received backlashes from a huge section of Ghanaians after the unfortunate incidence. After his action, he was sent off stage and invited to the police station for questioning and started battling with litigation against the state for indecent exposure.

Narrating what truly happened to Abeiku Santana, the singer said he didn’t show his manhood but rather a fake libido which was fake which was manufactured for him at the Art Center in Accra.

According to him, it was all a planned act meant to attract people to pay attention to his performance and also gain attention.

Diving into issues that transpired after the unfortunate incident, Wisa said the police invited him over for questioning afterwards but because he wasn’t abreast with proceedings, they tricked him and extorted a lot of money from him.

“My lawyer hadn’t come in at that time so they tricked me. They told me what to say and jeopardized the whole issue. They took all my money”.

He showered praises on his lawyer who defended him and proved his innocence to the world.
